I’m on holiday this week visiting New York City (follow me in real time on twitter), so here’s a video that is in keeping with the topics here and filmed in New York. Hope it inspires you to take some action!

Start every day with this question. What will you do today? How can you make a difference to your life and the lives of others?

What will I do today? This is something I ask myself from time to time, but get caught up thinking more about “what can I do over the next few months” rather than looking at it daily….
Maybe I’ll try sticking the question up in my bathroom, keep it as a constant reminder…
Cheers for the post

@Ross - Hi Ross, I was thinking about this the other day. I do think that it is right to keep a consistent focus on long term goals rather than get caught up in the short term mundane tasks of life. However, you should ask yourself what are you going to do today that makes a difference in the long term. Thanks for the comment.

Hi
I think it is important to try to do at least one thing everyday that aligns you with your long term goal.
It often also helps to reflect at the end of the day and take stock of what you have done that is on the path towards you destination.
It can keep up the motivation and the action and enjoyment of the process.

@Juliet - I agree completely. The best actions are those that take you towards your ultimate goals. Thanks for the comment.

Today I just want to be able to stick to my goals while still remaining properly focused on my family. It’s so easy for me to get so caught up in my daily grind that I forget to periodically stop and enjoy my wife and our marriage and all the joy that comes with our relationship.
Thanks for bringing this question to the table. Worth some chewing from time to time. Eric.

@Eric Hamm - The daily grind - you are so right, it does get in the way. Thanks for stopping by,
